The Snugpak Chrysalis sleeping bags swell as you move and turn when sleeping in the bag. It allows you to sleep curled up without feeling cramped. Just like the caterpillar chrysalis, the new Snugpak sleeping bags are made for movement and growth with enough expansion allowing you to even sit cross-legged whilst reading or having a cuppa in the tent.
The secret is in the CHRYSALIS baffle system pioneered by Snugpak, (UK?s biggest manufacturer of sleeping bags). In normal use the bag boasts all the features of a traditional sleeping bag, but the jumbo zip baffle can be opened out to give much more room within the bag. If the temperature drops you simply zip the bag tighter and instantly boost the thermal performance.
One other unique feature in these ?growth? bags is the provision of ?Kidi Clips? placed three quarters of the way down enabling the bottom of the bag to be folded down for smaller sleepers like children so they don?t slip down in the bag.
