The Snugpak Pile
Shirt Elite is Snugpak's version of the traditional pile shirt (Buffalo
style) with thick pile lining the inside for greater warmth and
Snugpak's innovative high-wicking Paratex Tuff outer. This style
of jacket is commonly used by the armed forces all over the world in
all conditions for its versatility. It's over the head smock
design helps improve warmth and easy access side zips give good options
for venting and also make getting it on and off quick and easy!
Its a great
jacket to wear when starting off in the extreme cold and at stops,
great to pop on when pitching the tent, when getting up in the morning
or sitting around by the campfire in the evening. The outer pertex is a
tough windproof and water resistant fabric and combined with the
wicking pile does a fantastic job of keeping you warm even when wet or
staying still. One of the warmest jackets you will find for the
weight and size ratio, it also comes complete with compression bag for
easy storage. Keeps you snug in all conditions
The Snugpak Pile
Shirt Elite is designed to be worn next to the skin to draw
perspiration directly from source. If it is
intended to be worn over other clothing then increase the size chosen
and for best performance wear

The Snugpak
Elite Pile Shirt is supplied with a choice of two detachable hoods, one
a lightweight
nylon and the
other a Softie insulated hood. Both hoods, attach to
a concealed Velcro strip, are supplied as standard along with a
compression
stuff sack.
